The MCT Board of Directors has
announced our new lineup of shows, with some very interesting choices
this season! Starting the new season on October 10
through 12 and October 17, 18, David Engel will direct
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE,
the Tennessee Williams classic, followed by the
hilarious holiday spoof (with a ridiculously long title),
THE FARNDALE AVENUE HOUSING
ESTATE TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD DRAMATIC SOCIETY'S PRODUCTION OF A CHRISTMAS
CAROL by David McGillivray
and Walter Zerlin, Jr. This outrageous comedy will be co-directed by
Jeff Harris
and Pete Grady
and runs appropriately from December 11 through 14. Next up will be
a romantic comedy from Bernard Slade, entitled
ROMANTIC COMEDY.
MCT veteran director Rick Gooding will present this production on
February 27, 28 and March 1, 6, and 7, 2009. The final show of the
regular MCT 2008 - 2009 season will be
FIRST BAPTIST OF IVY GAP
by Ron Osbourne. Directed by Arlene McAtee, this show plays
on April 24 through 26 and May 1 and 2, 2009. Mark your calendars
and plan to attend every show in this great new MCT season. It's
